According to the official Bitcoin Gold website we will see the start of the hardfork in about 6 hours. This means for those of us holding BTC in an official wallet we will be credited with the same in Bitcoin gold.

This past week we have see Bitcoin hit a all time high at over $6000 but today on the lead up to the fork it has dropped to just under $6k. I think we are seeing the FIAT investors cashing out as they are unsure what will happen to the value to the coins once forked. The Crypto fans want to see some of that delicious Bitcoin Gold for free in the hope that, like Bitcoin Cash fork, we will see some free coin and therefore free money

But is it really free? nothing in life is free, right?  Maybe Crypto forks are free money for some that can arrange and setup the wallets etc and some will just not bother as it is too much hassle the coin will get lost on the block chain.

For me, I transferred my LTC, FTC and VTC to BTC and hope that Gold pays out. My wife will kill me if this dumps again and I lose another stack of cash!
